We are a Veteran owned business and we believe and support the Right to Bear Arms. Along with this right comes the responsibility to ensure Firearms Safety. To support this we believe that everyone using firearms should be Properly Trained in the maintenance, use and storage of firearms. That was why this organization was created, to supply training for all Qualified Citizens of this State and this country to support their Right to Keep and Bear Arms. 

 Ed Cameron is the Owner/Instructor of New Wave Firearms Training, and is certified by the Maryland State Police as a Qualified Handgun Instructor, is an NRA Certified Pistol Instructor, and also is an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer. 

In addition to his company operations, Ed is certified by the Maryland Police and Correctional Training Commission (MPCTC) as a Police Firearms Instructor and Police Academic Instructor.

Ed is a  lifetime firearms user, growing up on army posts with his father, visiting the ranges and firing all types of firearms. Like his father, Ed is prior service U.S. Army Military Intelligence. 

Having a grandfather who was a gunsmith, hunter, and marksman, and being able to work with him repairing and modifying firearms, has allowed Ed to understand and develop an affinity with a wide range of firearm types and manufacturers. Ed is also a Certified Glock Armorer

In addition to firearms training, Ed has been certified through the Texas A & M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX), as a Civilian Response to Active Shooter Events Instructor (CRASE). Organizations interested in active shooter/attacker prevention training can contact us for more information.
